Although National Lineworker Appreciation Day was officially observed on July 10, we believe it's always a good time to celebrate the dedication and hard work of our lineworkers. Our AEP Texas Facebook page featured four slides honoring the vital role they play in keeping the lights on and our communities safe:

"At AEP Texas, our Lineworkers do more than just keep the lights on. AEP Texas lineworkers volunteer, educate, guide children at outreach events, donate to organizations, participate at community events, and help others in need in and out of the workplace. They are often first responders in any community, and we celebrate them whenever we can. We love and respect our crews and encourage them to remain safe at every jobsite. They are our heroes.
