The Vannie Cook Toy Drive showed the impact AEP Texas employees can make when they come together for a worthy cause. 

Employees at the AEP Texas Pharr North Service Center hosted an Adopt-An-Angel event for deserving kids from McAllen. The day even included a visit from Santa Claus.

AEP's Empowered Parents & Caregivers Employee Resource Group hosted a Christmas card drive to collect over 100 holiday greetings for local nursing home residents.

The AEP Hispanic Origin Latin American (HOLA!) Employee Resource Group donated $1,000 to the Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial High School mariachi program. 

AEP Texas employees helped members of the Corpus Christi Women’s International Network of Utility Professionals (WiNUP) raise money for scholarships. 

A group of students and instructors from the TSTC Mechatronics program in Harlingen visited their nearest switching station to learn about the field they are studying directly from our AEP Texas experts.

Thanks to AEP Texas's quick response, the Matador Substation is now operational and serving the community only one year after a tornado destroyed it. AEP Texas is also working on additional infrastructure projects in Matador.

Corpus Christi and Rio Grande Valley employees hosted "Adopt an Angel" events for local children in the communities across AEP Texas's service territory.

Over 20 AEP Texas employees and leadership team members volunteered to lay wreaths on hundreds of graves belonging to our fallen heroes at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi on Saturday, December 14.

AEP Texas and the AEP Foundation partnered to light up downtown Corpus Christi for the holidays. AEP Texas is the title sponsor of Peppermint Lane, an outdoor holiday market every Sunday from Thanksgiving to Christmas. AEP Texas Director of Communications Omar Lopez helped switch the lights on downtown. Local businesses lit up their storefronts, bringing holiday cheer to the community.
