During an annual banquet and awards ceremony for the Bee County Chamber of Commerce, AEP Texas was presented with a Milestone Award which recognized the company’s contributions to the community for over 100 years.

AEP Texas marked its seventh year supporting the Crossroads Heart Walk in Victoria on February 7.

Six employees from AEP Texas/WiNUP-Corpus Christi helped distribute food to roughly 100 west side families in need.

Employees with the AEP Texas Kenedy Service Center came together to help a food pantry and library in the small city of Runge. The service center donated $1,500 to the city for supplies and employees also came together to donate $400 worth of non-perishable items.

Employees with AEP Texas celebrated Career Day with students at Singleterry Elementary School on February 5. 

AEP Texas brought hands-on career information to a recent school career day, highlighting safety, opportunity, and our commitment to a reliable workforce.

This school year, TFA will place more than 65 educators, alongside a network of over 240 alumni. 

AEP Texas External Affairs Manager, Patrick King, was recognized at the 2026 Aransas County Partnership Economic Summit for his investment, inspiration, and dedication to the county.

Two Vernon High School students spent a day with a distribution crew, witnessing a pole changeout and transformer installation and gaining hands-on insight into careers in the field.

The Rio Grande City team visited with elementary school students in Roma during a career day where they shared hands-on lessons about electrical safety and the many careers that help keep communities powered.
