The Boys and Girls Club of the Coastal Bend was fully energized when AEP Texas and WiNUP, showed up with a Cybertruck and drone equipment. The 90 kids boarded and inspected the Cybertruck, and watched Continuous Improvement Manager Patrick Rackley and his team fly AEP Texas's drone inside the gym.
This was the first time many of the children had ever seen a Cybertruck. WiNUP members borrowed the truck from Tesla so the children could see it. Member and Regulatory Pricing & Analysis Manager Gricelda Calzada says this is one of the ways AEP Texas is educating the younger communities about new technology. The hope is to expand their minds to new career opportunities in the future.
