The AEP Texas Pharr Service Center is gearing up for its annual Adopt an Angel event to support Escandon Elementary by pairing 65 students with individual sponsors, all AEP Texas employees, who will gift them the items on their wish lists.
Seven teachers will join the event at the Pharr Service Center to help guide their students through the activities coordinated and hosted by employees. All the gifts will be individually wrapped and given to the children during the celebration.
This year's theme is Santa's Workshop. Staff in Pharr will decorate for the occasion and will feature photos with Santa and a special appearance by the Grinch.
