AEP Texas contributed $500 to the Frio Pioneer Jail Museum to help cover preservation and operating costs for the historic site, supporting its work to protect regional heritage and educate visitors about the area's past. An external affairs manager noted the gift reflects the company's commitment to giving back and strengthening community pride.

Staff also volunteered at the museum's Pioneer Days event, where an AEP technician stepped in to lead a kids' cook-off so the activity could continue for nearly two dozen participants.
