AEP Texas Foundation is helping local communities in Laredo to continue to have healthcare access by donating $8,000 to Gateway Community Health Center. The healthcare center has provided medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services in Laredo's underserved communities for decades.

"AEP Texas is proud to support Gateway Community Health Center and the important work they do to ensure access to quality healthcare in our communities," said AEP Texas External Affairs Manager Danny Treviño. "This donation helps strengthen critical services for families across South Texas and reflects our commitment to making a meaningful difference where we live and work."

The donation is part of the healthcare center’s “Heroes in Healthcare Initiative” which will expand its coverage to Webb, Zapata, and Jim Hogg counties.
