(CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS - February 19, 2021) As of 6:30 p.m. Friday, AEP Texas has restored power to 99 percent of the customers affected by this week's winter storms and load shed event. The percentage includes all customers who experienced a power outage early Monday before the rotating outages started and customers who experienced a power outage once active restoration efforts began Wednesday evening. Crews and employees will continue working until all customers are restored.

AEP Texas would like to thank all of our customers for your patience and understanding this week. The gratitude many customers have shown our line workers these past two days, after enduring days of inconvenience, is humbling. We appreciate every kind gesture. We will work until we restore all customers who are able to take power. 

Customers who still do not have power are asked to call (866)223-8508 to report the outage.
