Weather permitting, AEP Texas crews will temporarily close road shoulders in 15-minute increments on Interstate Highway 37 between Leopard Street and Corn Products Road from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Monday, Dec. 4, to Thursday, Dec. 14. The closures are associated with utility work on a power line located near I-37.
Drivers can expect to see construction signage and flaggers near the worksite, where crews will be using utility trucks and other heavy equipment. This work supports electric transmission improvements in the area and ensures safe, reliable power for area customers.
