The AEP Texas Foundation is fostering community engagement through its sponsorship of "Light Up the Night" at the Imaginarium Children's Museum in Laredo.
This monthly event, running through the end of the year, offers families free access to hands-on educational activities. Recent gatherings included a foam party and an engaging electrical safety demonstration by an AEP Texas employee, utilizing figurines and light signals to teach children about hazard recognition and the importance of avoiding downed power lines.
The event also featured Louie the Lightning Bug, who highlighted electrical safety for both kids and parents in an enjoyable manner.
