AEP Texas served as a Hole Sponsor at the Big Country Home Building Association (HBA) annual Golf Tournament in support of housing growth and community development in Abilene. The tournament benefited several local causes including Houses for Healing, a nonprofit that provides free temporary housing to patients and families traveling to Abilene for medical care.
AEP Texas participated alongside local business and organizations that share a commitment to streghthening the Abilene community. Several employees participated, including Jake Prew, Jonathan Smith, Chase Williams, Athan Himmelstein, and Brandon Flores.
"Active participation in local events is a cornerstone of Abilene's growth, as it allows for opportunities to form and strengthen relationships with different groups and businesses," said Brandon S. Flores, Customer Service representative. "These events are all about supporting local businesses and allowing people to come together to build trust and share ideas that will help continue the growth of Abilene!"
