Employees from the AEP Texas Del Rio Service Center participated in the 2025 City of Del Rio Christmas Parade in a technology-themed float.
Marcela Chavarria, engineer senior, and Michelle Cervantes, administrative assistant, led the team's creative efforts for the parade entry and they chose to showcase AEP Texas innovation.
The float featured a brightly decorated bucket truck wrapped in multicolored Christmas lights, highlighting the equipment employees use every day to serve the community. Attached to the bucket truck was a festive float inspired by a retro video game theme, complete with pixel-style characters, holiday decor and a banner reading "Powering Up Holiday Cheer."
