AEP Texas Foundation donated $3,000 to the Bluebonnet Children's Advocacy Center to continue its support of services for children and families affected by abuse and trauma in Uvalde. The center provides critical resources for children impacted by violence, including those affected by the 2022 Robb Elementary School shooting. In 2024, the AEP Texas Foundation contributed a total of $15,000 to support the organization's mission.

Bluebonnet works with community partners to offer trauma-informed care, advocacy and healing services for children and families across the region. 

"Supporting organizations like Bluebonnet helps ensure children and families in our communities have access to care and resources when they need it most," External Affairs Manager Jimmy Earnest said.
