AEP Texas Corpus Christi Midtown crews and Meter Revenue Operations teamed up to donate gifts to students at Zavala Elementary. The Grinch and Santa also made an appearance to deliver presents to 28 students.
"Seeing the reaction on the kids' faces was pretty heartwarming. We asked most of the kids to open them, and a few of them said they wanted to wait for Christmas because that might be the only gift they might be opening this holiday," AEP Texas Distribution System Supervisor Jesus Vasquez said.
