Employees from the Weslaco Service Center visited Ruben C. Rodriguez Elementary School in Edcouch on May 1 to participate in the school's Career Day and share information about careers int he utility industry. Attendees included Jorge Ibarra, service mechanic A; Max Chavarria, line crew leader; and Yvonnilda Rodriguez, CSR senior.
Career Day events are a great way to educating and connecting with the youngest residents. Students are always excited to learn about career opportunities in the electrical industry and look forward to trying on personal protective equipment.
