On June 25, External Affairs Manager Daniel Lucio presented a $3,000 donation to the Boys & Girls Club of McAllen in support of their programs and commitment to serving children and families in the Rio Grande Valley.

Earlier in March, the Boys & Girls Club lend their facilities to AEP Texas to host an open house to provide information on a proposed Buddy Owens temporary transmission skid-mounted substation project. More than a dozen residents attended to learn about the project and ask questions. Their partnership helped make the open house a success. 

"This donation reflects our appreciation for the important work the Boys & Girls Club of McAllen does every day," Lucio said. "We value our partnership and are proud to support an organization that is making a lasting difference in the lives of young people throughout our community."
