Lineworkers  Adrian De Leon, John Ledezma, and Luis M. Alvarez proudly represented AEP Texas at Christa McAuliffe Elementary School during their Career on Wheels event in McAllen.

The team spoke with about 215 pre-kindergarten to second-grade students on February 27. 

"We are always glad to participate in these endeavors to show young folks there are rewarding opportunities ahead of them when they choose their careers," said Weldon Jones, AEP Texas Distribution System supervisor. 

Students were impressed by the bucket truck demonstration and learned about job safety as they touched and inspected the team's protective equipment (PPE)  on display.

"I would like to express my deepest gratitude to you and your team for enriching our students with insights into your career choice and business," McAuliffe Counselor Lesbia De La Rosa said. "We truly appreciate your support and the valuable time you dedicated to our event."
