AEP Texas proudly sponsored the LaMardi Gras fundraiser for the Lamar Volunteer Fire Department. The funds raised will help support facilities, equipment, and training for this group of dedicated volunteers.

Established in 1964 by a group of concerned citizens, the Lamar Volunteer Fire Department aims to protect the lives and property of its neighbors. Over the years, the department has expanded its services to include hurricane patrol, beach patrol, emergency response, and firefighting and fire prevention.
